This policy covers the funpods.com website. The FunPods app and physical products are in development; they will have their own privacy information, including details on children's data and parental consent, before launch. This policy will be reviewed by legal counsel before commercial launch.
Who we are
funpods.com is the website of FunPods. In India, FunPods is operated by XBORDER TRADE (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. You can reach us about privacy through the safety and privacy form.
What we collect
When you submit a form
Our forms (early access, school pilots, publishing, partnerships, press and contact) collect the details you type in, for example your email address, name, role, organisation, country and message, together with the form you used, the page you were on, the date and time and your consent choice. We use this only to respond to you and to send the FunPods updates you asked for.
When you browse
We count anonymous events, such as a click on a button or the use of a filter, to understand which parts of the site are useful. Each event contains only an event name, a short value (for example which button) and the page path. We do not set cookies for this, do not create identifiers, do not store your IP address with these counts and do not use third-party analytics. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no events are sent at all.
Technical data
To deliver pages and protect the service against abuse, our servers necessarily process technical request data such as your IP address. Our web server logs record only the time, the page requested, the response status and size; they do not record IP addresses, browser details or referrers. IP addresses are used transiently in memory to rate-limit form submissions and are not stored by FunPods.
The microphone demo
The Creator FunPod demo can use your microphone if you allow it. The recording stays in your browser tab, is never uploaded and is discarded when you leave the page.
Children
This website is intended for parents, teachers, students and partners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age required by applicable law without parental consent. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Where data is stored and who sees it
Form submissions are stored on servers operated for FunPods and are accessible only to the FunPods team. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and, for early-access sign-ups, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, use the safety and privacy form.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
