Built for children. Designed for trust.
FunPods serves children from age three. Safety and privacy are product decisions we make from the first sketch, not settings added at the end.
Safety principles
-
Parents in control
Parents decide which pods are available, which features are on, and who in the family can record or listen.
-
No public child profiles
Children never have public profiles, public comments or contact with strangers through FunPods.
-
Data minimisation
We collect only what is needed to deliver learning, and design deletion in from the start.
-
Moderated content
Everything published for children goes through age-suitability review before release.
-
Responsible AI
AI is grounded in reviewed content, labelled clearly, visible to parents and can be switched off.
-
Transparent permissions
Microphone, storage and network permissions are requested only when needed, with plain explanations.
-
No advertising to children
FunPods does not show advertising to children and does not sell personal data.
-
Secure pods
Pods are designed around authenticated chips and server-side entitlement. No personal data is stored on a pod.
Our approach to regulation
FunPods is preparing to launch in India and later in Europe and other regions. We are designing the product to meet the child-privacy expectations of those markets, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection framework and the GDPR in the European Union, with verifiable parental consent where it is required.
We do not claim any certification or official approval. When independent reviews, audits or certifications are completed, we will say so here, with details.
